History:
Over the years, Aloha Stadium has hosted NCAA football, WFL football, NFL football and the Pro Bowl, Major League Baseball, Nippon Professional Baseball, Minor League Baseball, test rugby, J-League soccer, concerts by Madonna, Kalapana, C&K, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Bruno Mars, The Rolling Stones and the ever popular Swap Meet.
Due to structural issues and safety concerns caused by corrosion and rust, February 25, 2023, marked the final day of Aloha Stadium and Old Queen Street Stadium was there to help with the closing festivities. Old Queen Street Stadium converted the stadium’s locker rooms into a museum and attendees were allowed to view jerseys, memorabilia and photos commemorating the stadium’s history.
