History:
This jersey was inspired from Colt Brennan’s 2007 legendary season and the banned “GHOST” jerseys worn in 2005.
In 2007, Colt Brennan led the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors football team to an undefeated regular season (12-0), a WAC Championship, and a BCS Sugar Bowl appearance against Georgia. That year, Colt also finished third in the Heisman trophy voting.
In October 8, 2005, the Warriors played Louisiana Tech in what would be the last time the Warriors wore the white jerseys and silver numbers. Nicknamed “GHOST” jerseys, rival announcers had difficulties reading the numbers. NCAA issued a warning. Hence, the following road game, on October 22, 2005, the Warriors wore a new drip. Still not tailored, the Warriors went to war with baggy jerseys.
