University of Hawaii Baseball Pillbox Cap
History:
Pillbox caps were a common sight in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The pillbox caps made a comeback in 1976 when five teams wore the style to commemorate the National League's 100th anniversary. Although the UH baseball teams never wore the pillbox hat style, OQSS will be releasing these fantasy caps as a tribute to the early days of UH baseball in the 1970s and to pay homage to the game's timeless fashion.
To help with this project, OQSS collaborated and worked closely with an icon, Norma from Stockbridge Sewing Works.
Features:
Sheridan orange on white felt “H”
Three sheridan orange soutaches round the cap
Eight eyelets adorn the top.
Cotton twill
Green satin under visor
Cotton sweatband
Made in the USA
Officially licensed with the University of Hawaii
