From Queen and Richards to Halekauwila to Merchant, it’s been a blessing for us to have been “officially” in operation for the last 4 years. In honor of OQSS’s new downtown location, we are proud to bring back an old favorite. Thank You to all that provided inspiration for greatness, intentions of authenticity and the ability to serve.

History:

September 8, 1975, with the new state of the art facility ready to go in Halawa, the "Old Stadium" designed to last 10-15 years has finally run out of time. The Hawaii Islanders beat Salt Lake City 8-0 to with the teams first Pacific Coast League championship. After the game, the crowd joins together to sing Aloha 'Oe, then the lights go out.

Honolulu Stadium was built mostly of wood, so by the 1960s, it took on a new nickname thanks to some unwanted occupants. After awhile, it was called "Termite Palace".
