(COMING SOON 12/18/25) 1979-1980 University of Hawaii Rainbows Mens Basketball Jersey
Talk about being true to the Game. Taken from the specs of Cliff Sanchez’s original jersey, Old Queen Street Stadium has partnered up with Ripon/Sandknit to faithfully create this 1979 - 1980 University of Hawaii Basketball jersey. We dare not to call this a retro as the jersey’s composite was woven from original materials from the 1970s.
History:
During the 1979-1980 campaign, the University of Hawaii Rainbows advanced to the finals of the Rainbow Classic.

Custom kelly green knitted duralite fabric
Sewn-on tackle twill graphics
1” rib knitting around the neck and arm trim (White/Gold/Scarlet)
Custom four color Rainbow tackle twill side inserts
Two color block “HAWAII" arched font
4” Number "12" stitched on the front
Number “12” stitched on the back
Sewn on Old Queen Street Stadium x Sand Knit Label on the lower left front
Made in the USA
